This webinar is particularly relevant for industrial companies, project developers, technology providers, consultants and investors working with industrial decarbonisation.
The European Commission is preparing a new auction with a proposed budget of up to €1 billion to support industrial decarbonisation projects. The final auction conditions are expected to be published in autumn 2026.
During the webinar, experts from the European Commission will join us and explain the proposed auction design, eligibility requirements, and application process, as well as answer questions from participants.
The auction will support projects that:
Electrify industrial process heat through technologies such as heat pumps, electric boilers, resistance heating, induction heating and plasma heating.
Use direct renewable heat sources such as solar thermal and geothermal energy.
Deploy nuclear heat solutions.
Deliver significant greenhouse gas emission reductions in industrial processes.
